that was one of my favorites!
Here is another... Sheryl Crow - Soak Up The Sun http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIYiGA_rIls |
|
|

I haven't heard that Sheryl Crow song since it came out.
Continuing with happy music... (yes, I actually do listen to some happy music... but most of it is not in English) Tribalistas - Já Sei Namorar http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tmk2A300C20 |
|

the music is catchy, but i'm not sure how i feel about lyrics that i don't know the meaning of
this cat is pretty talented robert tiso http://youtu.be/47TGXJoVhQ8 |

ah, that was very nice indeed. He's quite talented and that was a thoroughly enjoyable show. But does he play any other instruments?
Speaking of experimental sound, have you heard of these guys? Flying Lizards - TV http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i-vw1tKtgTE |

the music is catchy, but i'm not sure how i feel about lyrics that i don't know the meaning of The title of the song roughly translates to - "I Already Know How to Fall In Love" "I have no patience for television I'm not audience for loneliness I don’t belong to anybody I belong to everybody And everybody wishes me well I don’t belong to anybody I belong to everybody And everyone belongs to me too I want you like no-one else I want you like God wants it I want you, how I want you I want you like one wants it" Day - That song is definitely experimental. Haha. The girl is so damned deadpan. Catchy beat though. This is... um... kinda experimental. I guess. Kinda. It's... hip-hop. Haha. Just check it out. I actually dig this song and have no idea what the chorus is implying. Ecid - Werewolf Hologram http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WorWw5hX5H4 |

I liked the very end when the hip-hop part ended. lol sorry I can't comment on hip-hop as i am physically unable to appreciate it for some reason. I have tried time and again. Interesting visuals though.
I liked Tribalistas - Já Sei Namorar better. Nice feeling. thank you for the lyrics! Speaking of musical art form, i think this is especially creative and creepy. Appropriate for winter. Lyrics included. Kate Bush - Under Ice http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bCOiidUO1P8 |

Well... I gotta be real. I'm not really a fan. It's kinda... got this disconnected quality to the vocals. I mean... it works musically. I guess Kate Bush is to me what hip-hop is to you. Haha.
EELS - Elizabeth On the Bathroom Floor http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eS2ipWNm9Fw It's actually quite depressing. |

It's excellent! Seriously, i've never heard of eels, but i had to listen to two more:
Eels - My Descent Into Madness Eels - I Need Some Sleep good stuff. I'm too blown away to come up with anything new so i'm just going to post one of my all time favorites that i never get tired of. It kinda follows from your post. The Wallflowers - One Headlight http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zzyfcys1aLM for something a little more unusual... I like the short intro to this one: Robert Calvert - Ground Control to Pilot/Ejection http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vXk9R_iVSVQ |

"Glass of water."
'Check.' I did actually crack up at the mea culpa line. That's cute. Haha. Pretty diggable song. I really like the guitar. That Wallflowers song depresses the hell out of me. Damned Dylans... Interpol - PDA (with lyrics! yay} http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E2vr4Eh58I0 |

i've had the misfortune of listening to some "music" on this thread, but not this time
ran across this one the other day the smithereens - a girl like you http://youtu.be/5LwjD8z2mOg |

Yeah. I listen to some weird stuff. This is a classic though.

So I always wonder who actually listens to the links for music that people post on here. Anyways, this is my attempt to spread music like a virus and get introduced to new tunes, because honestly it's overwhelming trying to go through all the links. So here's my idea - post a song you want someone to listen to, but only if you listen to the whole song and/or watch the video posted before yours. well plastic pancakes, i really liked this idea, and i don't understand why it didn't take off. there are some tunes on here that i would probably have never been exposed to otherwise. thanks for the effort bro ![]() halestorm here's to us http://youtu.be/pdEmsYOOQjU |
