Both Hellraiser 1 and 2 are excellent, all the sequels after that not so much.

Hm, maybe I should revisit that one. I haven't seen the most recent sequel, but Clive Barker publicly bashed it.

Woah... I had no idea they were up to the ninth movie. The last one that I saw was the sixth or seventh... and it was not good. I mean, it wasn't unwatchable, but Pinhead was in it for about five seconds... I have to watch these things. Also, apparently the guy that plays Pinhead is super skinny and the suit makes him look like he has a giant gut. I find that extremely amusing. The cenobites are some of my favorite characters ever.
