Topic: Why I would vote OBAMA again | |
---|---|
Obama is definitely the figurehead but no one is putting a gun to his head while he is signing these bills.
We all know most policitians are bought and paid for. One of the reasons why I like Ron Paul, I feel that his views are his own and he cannot be bought. |

1.Of the constitutional authority given the president, his primary role is leading the troops, whom I happen to believe have had a pretty good success record under that leadership 2. As 'head' of the country, I also believe it is important what image a President creates and maintains INTERNATIONALLY, by how he carries and presents himself and how he deals with others on this front, he has also been very successful increasing the world opinion of our US president tremendously, carrying himself with professionalism, dealing with others with intelligence and diplomacy,,,, 3. As a personal preference, because of the status of the office, I do want someone less likely to fall over dead so I like a healthy candidate , of which he seems fittest. 4. Back to that 'intelligent' thing,, he also seems to have other candidates beat (in my opinion) and last but not least 5. SANITY, being that a president has limited power behind congress , I do want the hope that he has similar attitudes and ideas (and that he has some IDEAS rather than just critiques of everyone elses) for the country I would like to live in. IF he is able to get support of congress, great, but if he isnt at least the odds were increased by having SOMEONE in government trying to push those ideas. I know this is TOTALLY debatable.....TOTALLY but I feel he is not a heinous person. So many I feel are. I think is A GREAT COMMUNICATOR. I was dating someone who REALLY had been convinced by his family that Obama s*cked, I made him sit though Obama doing a state of the nation address. He said, "I see what you are saying about how he conveys himself. I think I hate him less". Personally and some will say this a lame reason, I kind of like having a minority at the head of our country. I think it bodes well for people like my mother who were active in civil rights. I feel like it means WE WON AN INTERNAL WAR within ourselves. We once enslaved African Americans in this country and NOW WE HAVE TURNED THAT AROUND AND PUT ONE IN THE HIGHEST OFFICE. TO ME THAT FEELS LIKE WE HAVE MADE HUGE PROGRESS AS A NATION. Also and people think this is lame too, I LOVE MICHELLE!! I THINK SHE IS AN AMAZING ROLE MODEL. Not just for African Americans BUT FOR ALL LITTLE GIRLS IN THIS COUNTRY. That you can be the good girl, you can get the education, you can marry the amazing guy with a career AND STILL BE SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR RIGHT. I adore her. |

TO ME THAT FEELS LIKE WE HAVE MADE HUGE PROGRESS AS A NATION. Means nothing when he sucks as a leader. Race does not a good one make. By the way you do know he's half white right? This whole race thing is silly, I don't care if the president is black, white or green, I just care if he/she does what needs to be done, and few do. Besides all that, the whole thing is so controlled anyway, that who gets in isn't a sign of anything besides they were good enough for the elite. That's all it is and all it's been for years. The elections are for all intents and purposes a farce, designed to make us feel like we have a choice when we have little. |

Owe-Bummer would have been a great ambassador or diplomat, but as President he is an untried and untested shoo-in, installed thru lies to the people, a failure, a follower, NOT a leader!
He's a servant of the bankers, NOT the people! Look at his staffers, cabinet members, advisors....ALL former bankers, or neocons from former puppet Presidents, with roots in Wall Street, the Tri-Lateral Commission, and Bilderbergers! He has spent more money, stolen more freedom, expanded wars, and expedited the destruction of our constitution and economy faster than any could have imagined! Some will say he "inherited it" from Bush, but the truth is, he is accelerating what Bush started, NOT trying to fix it in ANY way! |

or course they do,,,,, anyone agreeing with anything government is doing is sleeping and blind,,, I Get it already,,,, government is always wrong, individuals are always right Yeah, telling everyone they are either blind or ignorant isn't the best way to get people to listen. Unfortunately, whenever people do listen then come to their own conclusions, the "blind and ignorant" bit always seems to resurface. It's kind of like the spoiled child that doesn't get his way. Not trying to insult anyone, but communication is as much about perception as it is the message. |

That nothign and noone is perfect two. That it makes sense to look at the total effect of something and weight the pros against the cons,, and there will always be cons EOS has had its cons, but I believe the pros far outnumer them |
