IMHO. You are very attractive. That is not the problem. You are curvy woman's woman. A LOT of guys are attracted to that. You could phrase things better. Like instead of saying you don't need someone to take care of you. AND DON'T GO INTO THE INDEPENDENT WOMAN WHO NEEDS NO ONE MODE EITHER because that's a turn off to my guy friends. State what you are proficient at. What your strong suits are, etc. And don't say if they don't like children to move on but instead say something about how you are attracted to MEN WHO ARE GOOD WITH CHILDREN. I don't really get into it so much but realize you are absolutely marketing yourself as a commodity on here. 100%. And you are your own best advocate and fan club. In marketing, the best marketing, is positive. WHY YOU AS A COMMODITY ARE DESIRABLE. Not why others are not. I mean if you were a box of Corn Chex and the whole box boded of the inferiority of Smackle Puffs and Lucky Charms but said nothing about how yummy and nutritious Corn Chex were, why would anybody pick you off the shelf?? Do you ever return the look? read their profile? Perhaps there may be answers there. No, I don't return looks. I figure if they looked and didn't leave a message they weren't interest. After all, when I view a guys profile and I don't leave a message it's because something tell me in his profile I'm not what he's looking for. |

I'm not on this site long, still trying to figure it all out. Trust me I wont make the same mistake again, lesson learned :O I'm not saying there aren't nudgeworthy people on this site -- there most definitely are. I'm just saying my own selection skills are poor enough that I'm quite sure I would pick the wrong ones, were I ever to send a first nudge. Which I don't. If I actually wanted to contact someone first (which I never do anymore), I would send them a legitimate message, with words and commas and stuff. Because I like the idea of offering some content, something to read, something to work with. Nudges just seem a little too impersonal and meaningless to me for a first contact. But I'm kind of stuck in the whole "writer says words is good" mentality. |

I find that a lot of people on dating sites (both men and women) don't always know what to say. So someone looking at your profile and not sending you a message immediately doesn't necessarily mean they aren't interested or wouldn't respond to you. They could either be trying to decide what to say, or hoping you'd see that they looked and will contact them.
So, take a look at their profiles and see if there's anything interesting about them. If so, contact away! |

LOL. Grapenuts HAS THE SUPERIOR MARKETING TEAM. They have THE BRAND NAME visibility. I would be willing to bet more people buy the Grapenuts. Of course, when I check out a female's profile and don't sayanything, it's usually solely because they stated something that forbid me from bothering. i.e.: Only people under 21. Non-smokers only.
