Your fellow Americans lay wounded and dying
How can you ever laugh while families cry out in agony?
A brother, a father, a mother, a sister
Has just been lost to a hellish nightmare
That should have never begun
Mr president have you no heart nor sense?
If only you could hear the gut-wrenching cries.
See the red swollen eyes of those drowining in a sea of grief and anger
Read the minds of those who put on their uniforms day after day
Thinking they have been forgotten.
Feeling their efforts have gone unoticed.
Instead of hunting with Cheney take a look around.
Mr president maybe then you would see
This war...
This pointless war stripping us of our loved ones
Should have never had to be

I do understand what your saying,and I agree with your writting totally.I glad you wrote about this,I myself was thinking about it.Alot may not agree with the war,myself included.But tell him we do care.
