I really cant live without my cell phone. It has all my secrets, my memories! Without it im a gonner

I have an iPhone and I love it. I text more than I talk on the phone. I use it to check email, surf the internet, GPS and games. I do understand that people don't like texting and talking on the phone during dates and things like that, which is completely understandable, but just because some people are rude, it doesn't mean cell phones are evil. |

I have one,but it's not connected to a network so I cant use it to ring anyone, it was a pain in the butt..
so now its just an expensive alarm clock. However saying that my son has one and if he heads out it goes with him, that way if he gets in trouble he has it. |

A common excuse I have heard from people is that they carry a cell phone in case of an emergency and they give one to all their children for the same reason or so they can always get in touch with them.
Parents love their kids to have cell phones because they can always call them and tell them to get home, or yell at them if they refuse to answer. If your child is out with friends and misses curfew and has no phone you have no way of calling and finding out where they are and why they are not home. Kids put up with this "string" -- simply so they can text their friends. Its a win win situation. But I prefer not being on someone's string. I will live dangerously. I will do without a phone. For emergencies, I carry a survival kit in my car and a loaded gun. |
