That's pretty much the only way I've ever been able to meet people though. When I lived in Illinois, years ago, I had two friends, Annette and Deanna, who were constantly fixing me up with their friends or neighbors or co-workers or people they went to school with, etc. I thought it was a pretty good system since I didn't actually have to do anything other than call them whenever I broke up with the current one. I miss those days....!! |
