I live near Tampa Florida. Love going offshore fishing in the gulf of Mexico. Fishing is amazing. Lots of grouper and red snapper. Every time I have fished the gulf, I caught red snapper. One of the best tasting fish there is. I would have to agree. Love red snapper. Black grouper isn't bad either. I have not caught a grouper before. I do like the red grouper in taste and in texture. Like eating halibut, but with a deeper taste. I have had Black grouper before but found it to be oily in taste. . only problem with red grouper they tend to have worms you have to cut out of fillets. There's a fish called a hogfish. My favorite by far. Hard to catch with a hook and line. Most are harvested by spearfishing

Here we get allot of high mountain lake trout and land lock salmon.

John dori... Snapper.. Cod.. Trout.. Salmon ... Nz waters have it all :-) Sounds like fisherman's Heaven.

Here we get allot of high mountain lake trout and land lock salmon. . I lived in Wyoming for about 4 years. Caught brook trout, rainbows, browns,etc brook trout was my favorite very tasty

We have the brown, brook, rainbows, salmon, walleye, pike, and crappy. In some of the lakes we have small mouth and large mouth bass. Ice fishing here in the winter.
