I'm a bit bah humbuggy around the festive season so a holiday for me and my boys pref to the Cape Verde islands or somewhere equally as hot would be grand. Another thing we agree upon. I don't celebrate Christmas at all; no lights, no trees, no presents, no dinner; absolutely nothing. It is just a few days off work for me.

I get to see my son at Christmas...that's really all I need. Although I wouldn't mind something Italian made as well.

Yep, I think Christmas is a farce. Its all about greed and glutenay; not too mention how nasty people get fighting over gifts or parking spaces. It truly sucks. |

Yep
I am exactly the same..no tree, no decs, no lights, no dinner. What helped is both my boys were born in December and one is on the 24th. When he got old enough, I explained that I didn’t celebrate because I wanted to make sure he had an extra special birthday. |

Christmas for me is not about religion at all. It's about being with family and friends and enjoying each others' company. |

Yep, I think Christmas is a farce. Its all about greed and glutenay; not too mention how nasty people get fighting over gifts or parking spaces. It truly sucks. The entire world has been sucked into consumerism. I got rid of my TV, I no longer send Christmas Cards. I do have a special Dinner with my family but that's it. It is a totally mad time of year when it should be entirely peaceful. Most people are glad when it is all over. ...

What do I want for Christmas not materialistic things, I wish for love and peace and happiness for all, to spend time with family and friends and mashed pototoes and gravy and chocolate fudge and pumpkin pie, but most of all to sit in Santa Clauses lap and play with his candy cane
