Great visionary is gone, now we are stuck with an era heavy in the likes of MS. *sigh*

I just read that he passed...I know very little about the pros and cons of the different OP's etc...but very sad none-the-less...and so soon after resigning.

Jobs was a visionary and a creative genius ......What he accomplished is amazing...Sad to lose someone so young...only 56....His work, his achievements will continue to set the bar for many years to come...

I am playing, "I'm not Lisa" by Jessi Colter in remembrance of the Lisa computer.

I was actually talking about his innovative skills and vision, not so much the different OS's and such.

Sad to hear of Jobs' passing. Here are a couple links.
He was a challenging guy. Brilliant with his vision
and ability to make it happen and marketing.

He was not particularly generous though in life.

His commencement speech at Stanford after he had
been fighting his battle with cancer has been
noted many times for its inspiration and sincerity.

Personally, I was disappointed. I heard died worth 360 billion dollars and as the ex wife of a brilliant software engineer, I was waiting for.....and left such and such to Woz and left such and such to charity...........I was hoping anyway................ I guess that will all be kept private if he did do it but it would have been nice. I think Jobs true genius is that he knew how to surround himself with even more brilliant people than himself. He was an amazing marketer and idea man. He was gifted in that he took ideas and ran with them very much like a not so warm and fuzzy Jim Henson. Personally out of Gates, Jobs, and Woz, the Woz has always been my favorite. I don't know why everyone loves iPhones and iPads so much. They are so vulnerable. Macs I get. They're such a small portion of the actual market that I don't remember the actual last Mac virus.
