Hypothetical question:

If all you knew about the future was that you were going to die in one week, what would you do to prepare?

I'm not talking about the end of the world, just your own death.


How would you get your affairs in order?

I would head for the mountains and die leaning up against a tree.

i'd do nothing.
i'm already prepared.

Cheesecake and steak every day. With some fine whiskey. Some grand cigars.

I'll do everythin that i couldnt do in my lifetime. I'll rob a bank. Do some skydiving. Enjoy my time with friends n never tell anyone that im about to die

Humm first would get my Will in order then party hardy while spending time with friends and family.....

Invite everyone to a huge dinner. Sell everything I own buy a funeral and give the rest of the money to my kids. Have sex one more time.

I will clean my house, throw away all unnecessary junk, and get my things in order.

Pretty much what I do now.

I tried to create a bucket list once but all the things listed were out of my price range so it ended up being a wish list.

But I have already said all the things that need to be said good or bad, I have no secrets that need to be revealed, my kids and family know I love them, I have the will started but not all the way finished yet but it is all together and the rough draft is written so people know what I want done and I already take all the joy I can from every day and try to give some of it back at least.

So I am set be it today or years from now.

Definitely the will has to be in order.

Go to confession and receive last rites.

Tell my daughter the stories behind anything I am passing down to her that she is interested in.

Most importantly for my daughter is to answer any questions she needs answered and talk about our lives. Make a video for her.

Make sure someone will love and care for my pets.

After everything is set & done hopefully I will indulge in a lot of activities. Hang Glide, sky dive, glide in a plane, gallop on a horse, swim with dolphins, have some close encounters with various animals.

Last thing I want to see with my loved ones is the sunrise over Haleakala in Maui.

Make any updates in my will, buy life insurance, and enjoy the time with my family.

The fact of it is, people die unexpectedly all the time. I think it is a good idea to be prepared and to set things up so that if you died you would not be leaving a headache and expenses behind for your family to take care of.

I bought life insurance, but I need to make arrangements to take down my websites or for someone to maintain them after I am gone especially the one that sells my tarot cards. Or pay them up ten years in advance and have them up after I'm gone. Then tell my host to terminate them at a certain date.

Not that I'm planning to die soon, but it would be nice to have all that in order.

Update my will, arrange for a wake so my friends could have some fun, then party until I died.

I don't know if I remember how to "party."



What would be a party for you?

Eat and drink what I want; have guilt free sex, and spend lots of money. Probably go on a cruise doing this.

So true we say what we would do but don't already have many of those taken care of that we should have.

I'm working on that list got the Life Insurance policy's just lately. And working on going through each room of the house and getting rid of all the things I don't need. That would be just a head ache if something happen to me.

And making plans on doing things I have not been able to do but want too...

I would make sure I had ALL my apologies and I love you's out there!!

I've already done all of that.
