It may not come as too much of a shock that hippie goddess and “Laugh-In” star Goldie Hawn had affairs and “begged” her ex-husband Bill Hudson for an open marriage during the swingin’ ‘70s, and that is exactly what the father to movie star Kate Hudson alleges in his new book, “2 Versions: The Other Side of Fame and Family.”

According to RadarOnline.com, the musician writes that almost 40 years ago, Hawn slept with her “Shampoo” co-star Warren Beatty and French actor Yves Renier while the couple were still married. Hudson also accuses Hawn of having affair with a mysterious Swedish man named Bruno.

In his book, Hudson writes: “‘I have something to tell you,’ Goldie said. ‘I’ve been seeing this guy in Sweden. His name is Bruno, and he’s coming to the States on Monday. He’s going to stay here for a couple of weeks before I leave to start shooting the movie in Denver with George Segal.’


Hudson continues: “My mouth dropped open. I didn’t know how to respond. ‘Wait, weren’t we just saying how much we love each other? Didn’t we just make love for days on end? And now you tell me this guy is coming here and staying with you? Are you going to tell him about us?’”

“She glared at me but didn’t say a word. That was all the answer I needed. ‘When you are finished with Bruno, you can call me. You have my number.’ And I left.”

After Hawn’s dalliance with Bruno, she allegedly came crawling back to Hudson. “‘I’m in love with you,’ she said sobbing,” Hudson writes. “‘You’re my soul mate. I know it in my heart. It’s just that I’ve always believed in an open marriage.’”

RadarOnline.com reports that Hudson’s book contains even more “shocking” claims about his famous ex-wife and daughter. Goldie, for her part, has been with live-in love Kurt Russell since 1983. The two never married.

I never knew what the big deal with her is, honesty I think she is and always was nasty looking.

I always thought she was cute and her daughter looks just like her. Considering the mood of the seventies the open marriage thing wouldnt surprise me, but him claiming it doesnt necessarily make it true.

Actually, my dad went to the male private school.....of the same that Goldie Hawn went to the female school......he said she was he slut of thr school and slept her way to the top......which isnt unusual for back then for women to get ahead that way or to be pressured that way.......And I dont really think Kate Hudson looks just like her mother......I think Goldie Hawn is way prettier than her daughter actually

I havent known him to lie and his sister backed it up....so....its an opinion even though his sisters went to the same school....and granted they arent too pretty and could have been jealous, but if you take in account the times and most stars didnt make unless you had a family history or slept your way to the top well yeah I am kind of inclined to believe it.....its all about what you want and where you want to go.....hell if I'd had the opportunity to sleep myself into fortunr and fame....I might have done so too....

Also, one person's "slut" is another person's "free spirit". I like to stay away from the blue-nose vocabulary. We have more judgmentalism than we need in the world. The only people who are important here are Goldie and Kurt. Does their relationship work for them? It's really nobody else's business. I find the nosiness inevitable with a movie star, but offensive, nonetheless.

After all, Goldie and Kurt are big boy and girl, fully capable of handling their own problems, if any. the voyeurs should stick to solving their own problems. Like maybe "peeping tom" -ery.

Who cares what she did? If she was a slut, why does it matter?
