Topic: His Heart | |
---|---|
Scattered across the land
Bits and pieces of his broken heart She seeks to heal him Show him that love is not meant to hurt She gathers the pieces in her arms Protecting them from further harm With her tears and gentle love Glues the bits and pieces back together Tucking his now healed heart deep into her pocket She carries it safely back to him Standing before him Gazing up into his eyes She pulls his heart, healed and whole Handing it to him Whispering softly "I found this, broken and battered Torn and tattered Bits and pieces scattered I collected them Glued them back together Healed it with tenderness Cradled it gently in my arms It belongs to you" He looks down at her Seeing her for the first time through clear eyes Her bright blue eyes Fleeting yet sweet smile Her small hands holding tenderly to his heart He reaches out to take it Whispering to her "It is no longer my heart to hold Only one who is small yet bold Can hold this heart Keeping it within her own For it is my heart to give And to her and her alone I give it" |

ccp, there is a open door in each of us and that door never closes no matter what, an unending source of love and life(HOPE)but it's human psychology to stand and watch the one that closed long time ago, good wording
