I don't use facebook as a dating site. But, it would make sense to send her a message.

Writing it on her wall will be romantic.

According to Ms. Manners, a date involves a mix of food, affection, and entertainment, and when the affection becomes the entertainment, it is no longer called "dating".
With that in mind, the focus of your invitation should be the shared entertainment, since good company and good entertainment will always be a good date, even if there is no romantic connection. I'll have to agree with singmesweet on this one: Send her a message. I would have to reject joy4gud's suggestion that you do it on her wall: Many people like to keep their private lives private. I have deleted posts on my own wall that I felt were too overt or suggestive, and I had the feeling that the poster was trying to stake out territory... sortof like a cat spraying or a bear leaving scratch marks on a tree. And that's not cool. And I never do that to someone else. So man-up, find some piece of entertainment that YOU want to go to and see if she'd like to join you. Good luck to you, my friend. To quote Red Green, Remember, I'm pulling for ya. We're all in this together! |

Poke her.

In agreement with what Lowered said. Especially if it's a new person asking. I don't mind if a friend posts "Hey, wanna catch a movie", but if it's a new person and more serious, drop me a private message.

wait... do you actually know this girl??
if not, i would reccomend not using facebook as a dating site... i get those messages and such... and i delete them and pretty mcuh never talk to that person... if you are actual friends with that person, then you know her better than we do... my ex asked me out thru a combination of messages and IMs (which are pretty much one and the same on there, now, anyway)... but didnt ask me officially until we spoke on the phone... |

Don’t, find her house and follow her around for a week or two, just to ‘learn’ her hab..errr...i mean interest. You know what? I really need to look into the statute of limitations on something. I’ll get back to you on this. |

Poke her. If you two keep poking each other back and forth you can consider it cyber sex. Would that also be considered cyber dating???? |

Do you IM her Do you Message her Do you write it on her wall Choose one Tattoo it on your forehead and post a photo of it on her wall. Offer your first born to her. Tell her where she can get free automaintenance (breaks, oil change, etc.) And where she can get the best chocolate cheesecake in town. Girls can't resist chocolate cheese cake. They do anything for chocolate cheesecake. Chocolatecheesecake is more dizzying to them than red wine or a diamond ring. Ooops, be careful. Don't take the tattoo picture of yourself in the bathroom mirror. Unless your tattooist can write backwards fluently. But then the cops might stop you on the street charging you with devil-worship and anti-American Christian activities. On the second thought, don'd do the tattoo thing. Too complicated, can lead to several different problems if you don't get it done just so. |
