diana krall love me like a man her cover of bonnie raitt's song is quite good she has real heart when she sings "I wanna man to love me like I'm his own backbone" I love that line That makes me think of how Hank Williams revealed a heretofore unknown level of tenderness in his lyrics to "Angel Mine", with lines like, "I just want to live and love you/Always be your clinging vine" and how Sheryl Crow brought it forward in her melody and recording of the song. Sounds like we're having a similar experience here; we're both very touched by what we're hearing. |
