I just registered my baby for kindergarten today. Beginning of a new era in her and my lives.

What were/are your feelings when your youngest child started school for the first time?

I'm not quite sure how I feel. I cried like a baby when my oldest started school. But I feel kind of numb this time

I must be the oddest mom in the world. I think I am the only one that did not cry when my 3 went off to school for the first time. I was proud of them, of their accomplishments of passing the requirements to get in to school. What did I do when my last one got on that yellow bus? I took a nap.

Now that the youngest is in to her second year of college, and my finance has passed on it is hard, sad and lonely. So I will turn again to what I like most these days, my own education.

Advice, keep busy, do for you and have fun.

I felt like my whole world had fallen apart.

I had homeschooled my 6 munchkins until the oldest was in year 8 and then the 6 of them started school on the same day..

I dropped them off and had absolutely no idea what to do, i had spent the last 9 years teacheing them to read add up and to love life and then I handed them all to someone else, who i didnt know nor trust..
The only good part was that they all went to the same school, there where only 60 kids in the school from kinda to year 12 and everyone was like famliy..
i was allowed to help in most of their classes so still was invovled but it was a huge shock to my system..
