I prefer someone who is genuine. By that I mean, his expressions of appreciation and kindness is not conditional. That goes for all people in my life and not just in dating or romantic relationships. Being nice to someone with the intention to keep score and expecting something in return is worst than not doing anything at all. I thought more about this. Where does the list of requirements begin and end? Would not stealing things from me be a requirement? Of course. How about being racist? Killing, abusing people, hurting? You see, the list can go on and on. So, instead of having requirements I would rather not even get involved with anyone whom I don't resonate with. and there ya have it

Blue eyes, a little scruff around the chin is nice. I require a strong sense of devotion towards me. I second the strong sense of devotion - loyalty and priorities in order is a big but as far as requirements those things- the devotion & loyalty are probably more requirements to move from friends & dating to a more intimate level, relationship level to date all I require is attraction, manners & respect |

We all have preferences, but preferences change. Do you have any requirements when it comes to dating? Breathing. Closer to my age than to my daughter's age. Less facial hair than me. Can take a joke, and I'm the joke. |

Honey, a job and a car DOES NOT make you sound like a gold digger. It just sounds like you don;t want to raise or support the man your with. (trust me-- Its not fun "been there/done that") And a sense of humor is great can carry you through most things. Good Luck

The car thing is going to depend on where you live. I live about 30 miles from DC and many people in DC do not have cars. I couldn't seriously date anyone without a car, though, as I don't live close enough to that city and don't live near public transportation. So, I do have to be specific about that requirement at times. |
