I used to hate my name (Aaron). I learned to live with it.... My Mom told me they had no clue what to name me (I was the first born), so they got one of those 'baby name books' and just picked the first name! I'm glad they didn't use the dictionary! Being named Aardvark would REALLY suck! FYI, if you're choosing a baby name, don't be cruel. Naming your kid with something starting in "Aa" means that they're top on the list to be butt dialed at all hours of the day!

Mom said she named me after some movie star who I had never heard of and made it french by adding a y instead of an i. I know it's complicated but the name given is "Janyce"
No one spells it right so I started going by Jan to make it easy for them.
