Yea. Same time period....but these were garage punk bands that released stuff during that time and just disappeared. Bands like The Sonics, The Chocolate Watch Band, The Electric Prunes....etc....... The Strangeloves, The Leaves.......
White Rabbit.....That's one of my all time faves. Thanks, Lori. 
Lenny Kaye from The Patty Smith group compiled a bunch of these bands in a 2 record set back in the 70's that sparked a whole sub-culture within itself. |
