If You have 2-Towers and use one for a while and then use the other one for a while. Do you need to have antivirus on both?

you should have protection on both. most anti virus software you purchase can protect up to 3 computers.

I went back to new tower, found out that my 30-day protection had expire the day before,it was with Norton. So I was going to go with the same brand that is on old tower but Norton won't let me,they want me to buy their.I can't close them out. It seems that I should be able to pick whoever I want. So is there a way to handle this??

Assuming you have a PC with Windows, these should do the trick. They are all free (the first one requires a legit version of Windows)

Microsoft Security Essentials

CCleaner

MalwareBytes

Spybot - Search & Destroy

Update and scan once a week on each PC and you will be good to go.
