We are not the only country in debt there are not very many nations who could laugh at us to hard.(not alot of countries are in the green right now.) To default would be stain on our nation. I dont cares who fault it is just fix it. |

20th century social programs that were adopted when the population was smaller and younger aren't going to work in the 21st century.
Economic growth spurs job creation and additional revenue to the government. The pathetic growth numbers and high unemployment rates are a direct result of the keynesian economic policies that were employed by the leftists sitting in the white house. Leftists tell us that the more money the government takes in the more money it can distribute and then in turn be spent. This is a fatal flaw that has led us down a path of self destruction. People should have been saving money. If people had saved money instead of spent it and borrowed even more to spend on less than essential things we would have already been into a serious recovery. This type of fiasco is what happens when you have an economy that is driven by consumption and not saving. |
