Topic: Stuck in your head! | |
---|---|
Long story....
This is thread for posting songs that get stuck in your head. I believe part of getting a song unstuck from your head is to make another listen to it and get it stuck in theirs. Kinda like catchy songs are equated to chain letters of karma as part of the performing artist spell on the listener. ![]() Short story..... Post the songs that get stuck in your head. [Disclaimer]For those whom don't know me the last paragraph was complete and utter nonsense not be taken seriously.[/disclaimer] http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ccFFXkNfrNc&feature=relmfu |

Feels so good being bad-oh oh, oh oh oh
There's no way I'm turning back (Oh oh oh oh oh) Now the pain is my pleasure 'cause nothing could measure 'Cause I may be bad, but I'm perfectly good at it Sex in the air, I don't care, I love the smell of it Sticks and stones may break my bones But chains and whips excite me http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ACp27xF3Dyc |

This one, most of all. For some reason, I always find myself singing it while I walk the dog.

Here's a couple others that often get stuck in my head.
Africa - Toto http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azVqekQBK8g Jumper - Third Eye Blind http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8FXU3RuX8eo The Climb - Miley Cyrus http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NG2zyeVRcbs The Hero of Canton (from the show Firefly) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmG4tPspd-E Higher - Creed http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J16lInLZRms Plush - Stone Temple Pilots (I've received compliments on how well I sing this....I could probably do it with a band.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V5UOC0C0x8Q Big Empty - Stone Temple Pilots http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=slWFd6PtQbg Plowed - Sponge http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AwJ2vF8Hlf4 Afternoons & Coffespoons - Crash Test Dummies http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j53VGZnW4fU Complicated - Avril Lavigne http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5NPBIwQyPWE Patience - Guns N Roses (I used to be able to sing this with Axel Rose's falsetto. Now I'm out of practice. It's really hard, and harsh on the vocal chords. But I actually performed it at a party with 2 other guys.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErvgV4P6Fzc As you can see, the songs all over the place sound-wise. I absolutely love "Plush" though. |

I have to agree about Muse, and I fault ABC for that. They used "Uprising" in their ads to market "V".
Here's one that goes back a ways, but it became a must play on jukeboxes for me, it got stuck in my head so bad. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jhUkGIsKvn0 Kung Fu Fighting - Carl Douglas And because of that, so did this one... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJiyRDcJJMM Kung Fu Fighting Remix - Fat Boy Slim Sometimes it's the overplay on the radio that gets a song stuck in the head. Here's another example of that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HL548cHH3OY 1901 - Phoenix Here's another one, but when summer first arrives, there's something about playing this song while driving. Certain songs are like that. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KIYiGA_rIls Soak Up The Sun - Sheryl Crow |
