Could there be a cure for this vile disease? Yes, they all should be examined. If there is a even a remote chance that this vile disease can be cured, slowed down....yes, anything is better than nothing at all. If only a few are helped then a few of them and god knows how many children can be spared. Seems a small price to pay. I only know one (pedophile) that ever talked to me about this and he also knew it was wrong, hated himself for his thoughts. He did 7 years in prison for his crimes...3 different children. Yet, even now the thoughts still are there. He has considered killing himself. This would be a good start to eradicate pedophilia. But only a start. After we, as society, pin down exactly what can be correlated highly with paedophelia, then ALL men would need to be examined to establish who of them have these corresponding traits that indicate tendency to eff children. Without testing every male, the knowledge in our hands of what are signs or indications thats places a man under suspicion to be a child effer would be purely academic knowledge, and would do nothing to prevent this horrible abuse from happening. |
