Topic: Too much of our tax dollar money goes to Israel. | |
---|---|
it's not "our" money, it's the governments money...and when you single out a single group of people, that is racist... Iraq gets about 8 times what Israel gets, but not one of you whines about that... a small country that is surrounded by hateful enemies that would like nothing more than to kill every last one of the Jews, and you complain... and it is 2 billion a year, not 10 billion... Afghanistan gets about the same amount... A) The government taxes the people to provide for, support and protect those people ... so you're damned right I should have a say in how that money is spent. The ability (or lack thereof) to vote in a different representative, senator or president does not give anyone else the right to silence my outrage of how that money is misspent. B) Israel is singled out in this thread, yes, but it is not the only concern I have, personally, about the rest of our tax dollars. As its been stated, Iraq has received so much aid because of the destruction the U.S. government has caused. In the long run, Iraq does not receive regular aid from us anywhere near the amount Israel gets by default (unless you count the years we were supporting Iraq to counter Iran--and of which, Israel actually received 3.2 billion in 2010, the 2 billion figure stated was so far THIS year). I look differently at countries that need it. Afghanistan is a third-world country oppressed by the Taliban for decades. Pakistan was being payed to hunt terrorists and last I heard, that has been suspended. My biggest beef with the U.S. government's spending is defense spending that has nothing to do with Israel ... like the dozens of YF-22 Raptors that have never seen combat. However, I still disagree with the expenditure on Israel. That doesn't make me a "Nazi" or "neo-Nazi", it makes me frugal. Israel is not a developing country and does not need the amount of "aid" we've been funding, especially if we're paying off Jordan and other countries NOT to attack them. I say one or the other. And even "just" $2B can send 20 million kids (including Jewish-American citizens) to college, so take "Jew-hater" and blow. |

http://www.firstthings.com/blogs/spengler/2009/08/30/why-should-america-support-israel/
The first is strictly practical: Israel has the strongest military in the region and America wants to ally with strength. Washington should use its own resources to neutralize Iran’s capacity to build nuclear weapons, in my view, but the fact that Israel has the capability to do so gives America the capacity to achieve just this result without taking directly responsibility if it so chooses. Iran’s nuclear capacity is only the most obvious area in which Israeli capability benefits America (think also of the North Korean nuclear reactor installed in Syria which Israel destroyed last year). By the same token, it is in American interests to monopolize Israeli friendship as much as possible. If (as the Lebanon Star’s Michael Young suggests) the blunders of the American administration and its failure of will lead to “terminal irrelevance” in the region, the vacuum will be filled by Russia, India and China—and Israel will adjust its policies accordingly. That would make the world a more dangerous and less stable place, and America is far better off having Israel inside the tent shooting out. That is But there is a far more fundamental reason for America to support Israel. Israel is part of America’s DNA. As Michael Novak showed so effectively in his book On Two Wings, America’s founding drew on the uniquely Hebrew concept of holiness of the individual and divine love for the weak and powerless, as much as it did on the natural law tradition of Grotius and Locke. The destiny of the United States of America and the people of Israel are inextricably intertwined for that reason, and America’s affinity for Israel and deep interest in the welfare of the Jewish people are bred in American marrow. |

Your sarcasm does not really deserve a response.
But there is an answer to your question. Most of the "lesser brethren" (real Jews) have been killed. |

Who are the majority of Jews? You seem to believe that they are cross breed with lizard men as you have said in other threads. So in your own words, what are the Jews who aren't "lesser brethren"? |

What it implies, however, is that the people in Israel are not the descendants of King David, Abraham, Joshua, etc. and they are not (as so many Judeo-Christians believe) "Gods" chosen people returning home to the "promised land." So the ridiculi spread by the 700 club and other insane brainwashed Judeo-Christian groups is a bunch of crap. If extensive investigation into the bloodlines and geneology and descendants of all Jews existing today is done, it will discredit the Bible and the story of King David, Abraham, Joshua all the way down to Jesus. Extensive genetic investigation will dismantle all three religions and open a huge can of worms about Biblical so-called history. But this will not be done because the credibility of all Abrahamic religions are at stake. |

Jews have the most variation of any ethnicity, because they are so accepting of outsiders. Being the chosen people isn't based on genetics, it's based on philosophy and religion. |

That is your opinion. I don't believe it. Besides, they are not "accepting of outsiders." Not at all. That website is very slanted in their favor. They probably created it to cover the real facts. One woman had to sue a private Jewish school because they rejected her as a Jew because she did not have a Jewish mother and they did not want her kids to attend. They were practicing Judaism and by all rights, were Jewish. Does that seem "accepting of outsiders" to you? They don't even accept their own religion if you don't have the bloodline. |

blah, blah, blah... you can try to cover the facts all you want, but people can see right through what your saying... ajew hater is a jew hater, plain and simple... there are earmarks going to oil companies that are much higher than 2 billion a year, and oil companies need the money too, right? the government spent 42 billions dollars last year on continuing education last year alone, which is a good thing, right? you should worry more about your dumb arguments than who is blowing what... Those first three words described your intelligence level, so I'll drop some of the big words and repeat what I said in my previous post, I'm pissed about many things undeserving of our tax dollars (as well as companies like GE who paid no taxes). I'm also against sustaining welfare indefinitely ... I suppose that also makes me racist against blacks, right? I'm against healthcare for unregistered immigrants ... guess that makes me racist against Mexicans too, right? Being half-Mexican, I'm a unique kind of racist, eh? Point being, should I refer to you as a religious zealot because you support the billions that seems so callously tossed aside every year? I've no reason to believe so, therefore I won't. Just because I don't approve of supplying the foreign government of a developed and strong country with excessive aid doesn't mean I hold any distaste for their people. Shade me as you wish, but I've stated an opinion intelligently and gave valid reasons for that opinion. Your answer is "blah, blah, blah" and you brought up the oil companies I suppose because you could not understand the rest of my post. Brush up on your vocabulary and try again. I'll be here. |

I do not see your reasoning as valid, but that is my opinion. i think you don't really understand what is happening over there, and are jumping on the "it's the jews fault" bandwagon... and your right, 2 billion can help out a lot over here, just like it helps the people of Israel... and it could also take 2 billion of the debt... but i do have 1 question for you... is there a friendly nation anywhere around Israel? just one, anywhere close? without the help the US and other countries give them, they would have been wiped out years ago... is that what you want? |

If Israel is such a "nice" country they would not be constantly making so many enemies.
It is the spread of globalization and capitalism that America and Israel are involved in that leads to mass murder, invading other countries, getting rid of real democracy and installing dictators and visa versa. They have been doing this **** for 200 years and spreading like a cancer. It is the new world order at work to globalize the entire world. If you wake up and watch what is happening over and over in other countries and stop just listening to the controlled media that they own and control you might learn something before its too late. In Iraq they removed the real gold backed dollar and stole the gold from the people and installed a puppet government and then issued notes not backed by anything, putting the country in debt. This is plunder, usury, theft, murder done in the name of "democracy" or "fighting terrorism. That's the truth of it. |

They absolutely LOVE people like YOU. fine, but that didn't answer my question... You don't really want to know. If you do, then do your own research. If you think I'm making this stuff up, I don't really care. Educate yourself, its not my job. |
