One of my best friends has served 6.5 years of a 8.5 year sentence in prison because he was 38, separated from his wife and started a relationship with a girl who told him she was 20. She looked even older. Turns out she was 17. Her parents pressed charges.

He lost nearly 9 years of his life.
He lost seeing his two boys grow up.
He will be a "child molester" on record for the rest of his life.

I have always pictured the older woman being one of those few choice specimans with the perfect looks, body. Kind of the Demi Moore / Ashton Kutcher thing. I like younger men, in age or mentality. I cant bring myself to be with a guy who looks or acts "old". But I am no Demi. Am I still a cougar?

Interestingly enough it is women who complain the most when it comes to age differentiation dating. Older men seldom complain or start forum topics on women going after younger men (cougars). However, some women seem to have cornered the market on objecting about older men dating younger women though if one asks them they say they don't care. It would appear some women seem to have an ax to grind. I would imagine the reason is competition they are not use to.

Why the hell not.

I work for a dating service ( no I don't use my own service or use this site for research) I can tell you from experience. Becareful what you wish for 9 times out of 10 if a Young woman and I'm talking more than 10 years your junior asked to go out with an older man its for Money not for fun sex or because he's more exciting but because they are usually stable in money.

Almost every older man tells me on a daily basis he is younger than his age....I just let them ramble I feel like in a lot of ways age is a number but reality is reality.

I hear both sides of the stories so I know more than I should.

Older women want younger men basically because well thats for a Dr. Ruth site but for the most part the older want to be with younger so they think they look younger because they are hanging with younger people.

I think each person should be looked at individually because people do age and different rates. Within reason.

I do care. It's a personal thing with me; it makes me feel uneasy (creepy's a better word) when someone who's young enough to be my son is attracted to me. There's no way I'd date him. I wouldn't date anyone old enough to be my father, either.

I'm not in competition with younger women because I know my own worth. But I would feel just as uncomfortable if my 17 or 19 yo daughter came home with someone old enough to be her biological father. The 17 yo only has six months to go and 19 yo may already be a legal adult, but they are still childlike and inexperienced emotionally in a lot of ways. Sorry, but it seems a little too close to incest/pedophilia to me.

I guess men and women see this differently.

I was dating a girl 16 years younger than me when I was 35. She came to me first and we had a lot of fun. The sex WAS ALL THAT! I told her how old I was on the first date and she wanted to have the second date. Her parents hated me sight unseen and I was willing to face them. They however were not willing to face me. I have dated women older than me too and more often than not they ALL have turned psycho on me and I would up having to leave them behind.

Now I have had my appearance shoved in my face for years and I am so above that. I can usually smell out a cotton tail pretty easily. I am frankly honest from day one with my dates. Why deal with a woman my age or older knowing that eventually they are going to go off on me so badly one day I am going to quit the relationship?

I don't want a relationship with a woman carrying emotional baggage. And more often than not the older ones have more than the younger ones. That isn't to say I have not run across my share of psycho headcases younger than me 'cause I have.

Now even you said it about a lot of younger women who are out for money. And men do get stupid dealing with women. And women play men for money to this day. We are supposed to be a society of equality and yet here is proof positive women don't play that way.

If I was rich (and bear in mind I am not ugly by any stretch of the imagination) and I played the field making it clear I was looking for Miss. Right I would have every cotton tail in the area doing ANYTHING to get me wrapped around their finger and I would happily be screwing them all! Why settle for a single relationship when women throw themselves at me? BUT NO! My mother raised me better than that.

It is a sick fuqued up game I did not make the rules for. I am not going to relegate myself sexless just becasue I cannot get into a real working relationship. I am not going to get into a relationship JUST TO HAVE SEX EITHER! And I am not going to settle for a relationship there is no room to grow in. I can't grow with someone my age or older. But if I met an 18 year old woman who was honestly into me and we prosper together who has the right to judge us?

Nobody! That's who. People can get as jealous as they want. I don't look my age, I sure don't feel my age. And I am sick of everyone's hypocritical rules. Right now my yellow line for age is 32 and the red line is 38. Age is a number and it is all in your head. I don't have any children of my own and a woman my age sure in the hell is not going to have my children! And I also made damn sure to not bring a child in this world to know the poverty I did when I grew up. But I want children of my own so where does that leave me? Adoption? NOT! I want a family of my own, not some contrivance based on desperation to fulfill some lacking in my life. I am not going to just jump into having kids like so many idiots do. And above all Mother Nature doesn't care! Its the Older Lion mating with the females, not the younger ones. Why? the older male will drive them off or kill them if he caught them. In nature the females go for the older males with PROVEN SURVIVABILITY and many studies of animal behavior have shown that there is a major age disparity in many species where the male is older than the females. That changes when a strong enough younger male comes along to depose the older male who is weakening. The list of animals that are like this is too huge to put on her practically.

If a man is stupid enough to pay to have a fluffy 18 year old cotton tail under his arm then it sounds like jealousy that you are not getting at his money but she is. Also a lot of older women are convinced that the quality of sex is better with a younger guy. A lot of men my age begin to resort to Viagra to help them. I don't need that sort of help.

Like I said, it is a messed up game with hypocritical rules. Why do you think I am having such a hard time finding a real relationship? The women here in Los Angeles are looking for guys to support them. Not men to face life down together. Besides, I see SO MANY women n this site looking for Financially stable men. Why? They are the ones with the money to support them! Why do you think I call a lot of people Cotton Tails? Their soft azzes don't know what a real day of work is like! A functional relationship means both people are a team, not Master and Servant! If he is paying her way she is a servant. And that goes in reverse with a Cougar and a younger guy! I don't want a servant, I want a goddess!

So getting back on track, I think Lion does fit an older guy with a much younger woman.
