I just got back on this site after like 2 days and as soon as I check the forums all i see on like every post is delete topic or keep topic whats up with this?

Well click on where it show delet and it will explain

 Its so ironic, someone flagged this for 'delete due to assaulting others' - don't take it personally. I voted to keep it, since you are clearly just asking for your own information.
After having read all those threads which already discuss it, do you have a more specific question? |

So did I and all these guys that are playing with the delet, Grow up. I think there should be a thing if someone abuse it that they should be band for a week from this site

Oh, EVERY NEW POST will be put up for moderation, its not only if there is something wrong with them! If we all just ignore it, after a while the moderation option goes away.
If one person votes to delete it, then it opens it up for 10 people to vote, and it takes 7 out of 10 to delete. |

Well, you got the 4 votes you needed for the post to stay on, and now the 'delete' option is no longer visible.

Hi BC! Just click on the "Moderate" button at the top of the screen, below "Mail", next to "Forums", and it will take you to a moderation page. Its only available for a short period of time after a new thread is created, then it can't be moderated anymore.
Also, if you happen to look at a thread shortly after its created, you will see the moderation option, it will be very obvious. |

Matt88, if you look to the left you will see a "joined on" date - I've been on this site for about 5 months.

BC, I think you are doing it correctly, it just happens that no threads are up for moderation at the time that you do it.

boredchick, when you go into read a new post, it will give you the option of flagging it for removal if it is deemed to be improper. If enough people (7 of 10) decide they don't want it here, it gets deleted without the site administrators needing to do anything. They call it self-moderation.
They say some will click on anything, but I haven't voted on any yet. I guess you just gotta play with it and see how it works

So in other words, you can't try to vote against a thread if it's not new? What if a thread gets out of hand and ridiculous later on? Then what?
