has anybody ever auditioned for a part in a play or a musical?

if so, any suggestions for someone who may be considering an audition?

I haven't and I have no plans to, but my best friend actually makes musicals. What he always looks for is, of course, talent and compatibility one is auditioning for. Research the part you want to play and do it well.

Attitude also plays a big part because no one wants to work with someone difficult to handle or someone who can't get along with others. Are you flexible when changes are done last minute or do you get stressed out?

Availability. Will you be ready as soon as he needs you to be? Are you willing to put in long hours if it's needed? If there is a need to change locations or schedules, can he count on you to be there?

I'm sure there's a lot more, but that's what I could think of, off the bat.
