I get that a lot too. Or from guys half my age who, I'm assuming, think I'm desperate, an easy mark or whatever.

I sort of fell for it once; a 30 yo invited me to chat (he was from USA) and I figured I'd give him a chance as I'm just looking for friends. But he kept trying to turn the subject to sex, asked inappropriate questions. After about 15 minutes of this, I had more than enough of him and that I have children older than he is! Then I shut the window and blocked him.

Never again!

I had a russian one conatct me once and said she wanted to marry me. She was a smoking hot blond virgin but she grew up so poor and poor thing had to take care of her ailing grandmother. If i could just send 500 dollars for the trip she could get a job in america to take care of her ailing grandma. I told he "but i'm a cartoon charachter and i'm only 12..." but she didnt care she would marry me anyways!

It happens to all of us, and on every free dating site.
You learn early on how to spot the scammers. It amazes me how so many people actually fall for some of the scams.

Guys, please do not ignore them, report them. We work very hard to keep them off the site. You can do your part, simply by clicking on the 'report user' link. The person will not know you reported them, and if the person turns out to be legit, then no harm done. Member support is greatly appreciated.

Ok, just for you: I don´t want to marry!!! :) But i am not from Ghana though ;) But i wouldn´t say anything against a fine relationship. But i think it´s not that easy, cause most of the women here live far away (i wouldn´t have a problem with that). :)

Same thing happened to me.I had some man message me to and asked me if,I would marry him? I just ignored him and I didn't respond.
