Understand

I have hurt people
Yet I only hurt myself
I have feared
Yet fear has never harmed me
I have felt anger
Yet I feel resentment with myself
I have felt melancholy
Yet the world is all around me
I have felt confused
Yet it's all emotions happening at once

When I have felt hurt
When I have felt fear
When I have felt anger
When I have felt melancholy
When I have felt confused
It is because I have not been comprehending
Now I'm beginning to understand
