Whats new in Sadie land? this summer I have my son's girlfriend staying with us, while she works at the town cafe..and a huge surprise, my oldest grandson visiting for a week. It is actually, the very first time mom has let go and allowed him to spend time with our family..a huge development. Wonderful..he's 14

Thats great Sadie. The men in my daughter's lives are good people too. Before they met these guys sometimes they were with with real losers..so hard to watch.

Hi Sadie Happy Father's Day RaY Thanks for the thought Betty, but it's a tad early for us down here. Fathers Day in NZ is the first Sunday in September! Never mind, next Friday is our shortest day, then it's onward & upwards toward summer.......woohoo

Update on flooding. Lost another leeve is southern Iowa, closed Hwy 2 in Iowa from river to I-29. I-29 south to Missouri was already closed, when will these reopen...no one knows, but will be months. Leeves in Omaha/Council Bluffs area still holding, question is...for how long. Going to be a long/interesting year. Gavins Point dam on Nebraska/South Dakota border is releasing so much water, that the lake changes ALL the water behind dam, EVERY 23 hours. SCAREY. Discharge would fill an OLYMPIC pool in less than 1 second. Stats. are interesting, but show how serious things really are.
