Topic: How to Tie Your Shoes | |

Both bows look similar to me. Has this been tested? I go for a walk every night and my laces always come untied somewhere along the way. Tonight, and all this week I shall test this theory. I will tie my right foot the old way, and the left foot this new way and see what happens. Oh Jeannie... nooooooo! Do you need a hobby??? I'll come and play cards with you. |

No, but I do have a problem with my laces coming untied all the time. It is really annoying. The last thing I need is another expensive hobby. I hate playing cards. And for the sake of research, I am willing to to the testing since I am walking every night anyway. |

Result of first experiment on tying my shoes:
Left foot: The new way: The strong bow. Right foot: The old way: The weak bow. Tonight's results: After a one mile walk the left foot's bow was about to come untied. The right foot was still doing well. I will do more tests. I may not be very experienced at tying the bow backwards. I will test it for the rest of the weak. But so far: Strong bow:0 Weak bow: 1 |

Result of second experiment on tying my shoes:
Left foot: The old way: The weak bow. Right foot: The new way: The strong bow. I pulled them both very tight. Tonight's results: After less than a quarter of a mile walk, the right foot's (strong tie) bow was about to come untied. The left foot was still doing well. I will do tests for a week. So far the new way to tie a shoe is not looking good. I wonder if I'm just not doing it good enough. So far the score: Strong bow:0 Weak bow: 2 |
