Consumed.... I glare into my mothers eyes Our tears speak volumes, although I'm only five. A train of destruction is coming with metallic claws. With a fiery breath of wind beneath it's wings. Consuming life along it's path of grief. My heart has found refuge in my throat. It's roar draws closer with every beat of my heart. Consumed by this mythological tiger of the wind. The minutes seem like hours, screams echo out into the dark. As I hear the buildings, and trees being ripped apart. Glass and object fly like bullets with no virtue of innocence. Fierce claws having a taste for blood have found me huddled tightly in a dark corner of the room. Ripping me away from my mothers arms the angels scream. Consumed by this mythological tiger of the wind. Dark clouds fade away into silent dreams. Tattered victims make their way into the shattered light of day. Refugees left upon a battlefield of wind. Destruction and fragments of what was once life. Now I stand as a witness quietly as a angel silently takes my hand. A reality of life left by this mythological tiger of the wind. I have always been curious about your writing. Do you choose a picture to portray or does the picture write your words. This has an intensity that wraps fury likened to these winds. You probe to a deeper layer of personal emotion.
