^^^this, when I hate someone, my mind just believes they don't exist any longer! Also agree with Ruth here. I have often told other people that inform me someone is talking bad about me..."whatever, glad I could provide them with subject matter for good conversation". I have never really been bothered by others gossip because I know who I am so why should their misguided opinion of me count?

This helped me greatly when ending it with my ex because I realized as long as I responded to his comments emotionally, things wouldn't end due to the back & forth. I don't wanna talk, argue, fight, etc so I said that is it and it is done! I know he's talking bad about me, but I don't care. His opinions of me are no longer valid!
