 Don't feel bad John, I was here for about 6 month before I got people to talk to me.That's cause i was staying in the background. Then I started posting and joking around with people and now I have quite a few good friends and I love this place. People are very nice and caring.
Make yourself known, put in your 2 cents worth here and there and you'll see. This site rocks

I lost track of how long i've been here and I only have 4 friends... it's hardly a race, don't worry too much about it. I know it's difficult having to wait, especially when you are lonely.

keep posting in the threads and allow people to get to know you and then when they see your friend request they will know who they are adding.
