...on a lonely shore
.a fisherman casts his line
among the waves and swells he finds
seashells brought as the tide rolls in
back out to the sea again

..the sun beats down
the day is hot
he casts his line
into his favorite spot
only to reel it back again
an empty line
as his thoughts begin

..to take him back
to another time
..another day
a different line..


..each day brought him
another day
... without that which
he sought
..but as time went by.......

. he forgot...

..but i will always remember the fisherman.
