Whoo, alright, poetry! Yeah! I'm HUGE on poems. I discovered my talent for it in summer 2007. What about you guys? What is everyone's reasons for writing and origin stories? Go ahead and tell 'em, I got time. And it'd be great if you would all read my poems that I'll be posting sometime soon and post feeback and I'll do the same if you like. Name's Josh by the way. I mainly write books, but I've done some poems, and I've posted a bunch of them here over the past 50 years or so.

You'll find there are a lot of people who will give you good feedback on your writing here. Some really talented writers, too.

I've posted lots of poetry on here in the past. I view it as therapy and tend to write when things go wrong.

I also write short stories and other fiction. I write because I get satisfaction from it.

It will be great to see some of your writing.

I've written six books so far. Five of them are a sci-fi series, which thus far has included three novels and two collections of short stories and poems, with some of the short stories tying into the main plotline.

My other book is a sort of guide to internet dating, which is a little bit like Hitler writing a book about rollerblading, but everybody needs a hobby.

My next one is going to be a book of poems and essays, and that one should be out in July, probably.

Yeah I feel exactly the same, it's like therapy. I started writing in 2007 because I had to move away from my home and that was hard, but 3 years later I write pretty much anything that pops into my head, and for the most part, it comes out pretty good. I really hope you like my stuff.

Hey that sounds interesting. I'm into a wide variety of subjects, from fantasy to realism. That sounds really cool. Is any of it published? If so can you give me tips on how I go about getting something published? Hey maybe Hitler rollerbladed in his spare time when he wasn't killing people.
I'm definitely interested in that last book. I'll check that out if you publish it.

i started back in high school, my sophmore year. back then i really didnt know what i was doing, but when you wake up in the middle of the night and just start writing for 10 hours straight, you have to ask yourself wth?! i really did just waste an entire saturday just writing down a dream i had. i'm mostly known for my poetry but im writing pretty much everything. i was published in 2008 and i have to warn you all to never sign a contract that doesnt specify the amount of payment...

I have been writing since I was a kid but had writers block for many of them...began to write again after coming here. Seems my emotions tend to cause me to pick up the pen....been quiet for a short bit but planning on coming back to it soon

The story of my life beats like my chest and when i speek pomes are delevired. weather it is with'in the air or from my viberactions i leave imprented on the ground i always felt watched someones looking around. Picking up the pen help me displace the rage the dark days when it driped red with rage.discoverd ,now found, throw charkers no frowns,i hear the voices of love with in me so loved i found, i now charious the sound and pratice moveing things with my mind with the energy that's all around.

I never wrote,,or typed until coming on this site five years ago..
It was through my writing that I felt I was just talking to others through..As time went on, it became my expressions of heart and moments lived. To try and allow a reader to feel a part of it with and through me, as they read my words..
I am not talented as a writer but I am very interesting to read, through the readers mind in feeling who I am, in all that they read..
To me writing is just talking, here in type.
But to many. They say I have a very cool approach in the way I talk through my words to them?
