Was watching the news a little earlier was so sad it was showing a huge house in full flames so much lost due to stupid people..... 
Stupid people? It wasn't from the wildfires? Humm yeah did you not hear how some of the fires were started? Homeless that were cooking and the fire sent sparks out and then got out of hand... Then several areas have had some that are starting fires for no reasons

Yes, they said someone started 4 fires here at B-ridge last night. Why would they do that? I don't know....said they ( the police) were looking for a white welding truck that was seen in those areas at the time of the fires. |

Dayum, the inference is that all Texans (who share the heat) are crazy. The only sane ones are in the midst of a rain storm & biting their finger nails down to the elbows

A lot of it is just plain carelessness ...........sad for sure..... my nephew was waiting to see if he was going to be sent to help he is a fire fighter in Burleson. And they were sending some from all over to go help out... Already had one firefighter that died and think another seriously burned.

i thought that some guy had started a campfire that got out of hand. if i remember correctly they caught him and were going to charge him

Yeah that is what I heard too ese but then there were other fires that were started as well that they have no clue who started them....

It seems from what I read on news casts, that a half or more of the state is either burnt or burning. That is what the Aussies call a "bush-fire" often started by lightning strikes, though they have their share of crazys to! While we also have a bunch of mentally challenged peeps, who come out to play in the full moon, luckily it doesnt get hot enough for all-out busdh fire here. Well, not to often anyway

The fires are unprecedented here in Texas...it's kind of like the Perfect Storm...low humidity, high heat and dry grass and brush that usually isn't seen until winter..add n the winds...and we have a perfect atmosphere for burning...
Over 200 have lost their homes with 8000 in jeopardy.Any thing can trigger it...mowing your yard and striking a rock with the blades,causing sparks...lighting, welding and cutting torches....the list goes on and on |
