I'll be following a thread closely so I can see when new responses come in. When the thread finally comes up to the top of the page, there seem to be more that just one of two new posts since the last time I read. Do they, like, get saved up and posted all at once, are there a lot of people posting at once, or am I just not paying close enough attention?

Don't think they get saved up. Some people post closely together so it shows more than one.
