I had to fire my bestfriend's brother due to unsatisfactory work performance. Gave the usual explanations supported by his performance ratings without having the need to mention our connections. A little tough explaining to my bestfriend though as she didn't know our company policies then.

Luckily I have not been fired and i don't want to be fired either. I'd rather tender a resignation or quit the job when the working situation is not anymore healthy .

Just got word yesterday that they are cutting bussing for next year  . Schools are in bad shape here in Michigan.
Heck they are cutting Teachers left and right lately don't make sense to me for we all still pay the school taxes regardless of the economy.... 
We got a new governor...he's union bustin'. He's trying to save the schools by disolving the unions. After cutting the bussing, 3 exec positions, sports, 26 teaching positions, there will be 30 to 40 students per classroom. |

Just got word yesterday that they are cutting bussing for next year . Schools are in bad shape here in Michigan. I don't know what your politics are, Winterblue, but I am just appalled by what is happening in Michigan. Your Governor is a real piece of work.
He thinks he's King Geek and is now starting his own Monarchy!! And our people are just snoozing away and letting him do it <sheesh>. |
