If you are at a dance and a man winks at you but you are not interested do you walk over and say, "thank but I'm not interesed"? No, you turn to your friends and ignore him. Same rules should apply here: no answer is an answer. Especially since some people get upset. no i would smile and chat, even if i wasnt interested, I couldnt be rude That could send mixed signals though. yep apparently it does, but i have an engagement ring and always say i am taken, but am still nice. Not sure how people still mix that up. We grew up where everyone knew everyone and no way would you not smile at anyone who was there. |

I like to reply to everyone, except the totally stu[pid ones asking me for sex or naked photos. those I block. I can;t believe those morons actually think we HAVE naked photos Oh yes, I keep naked photos handy at all times right. why would I even have them much less send them to some butt head who prolly has no photo and a one line profile - or to anyone for that matter |

I think that if a guy takes the nerve to send a woman a message showing interest in them, then it deserves a response showing a lack of interest if the case may be.
If the guy then responds back all butt hurt and angry, you can then proceed to ignore his douchebaggish ways and move on. I know from my own experience I have to actually build up some nerve to actually initiate contact. I however, can take a no, I just would like to know instead of wondering... And hell, my mind wanders... |

And hell, my mind wanders... what's there to know? no answer IS an answer I know someone already said that but it bears repeating - besides - let it go man - it's tough not to be in control, but when I see men getting all whiny about not getting replies it seems a little control freaky creepy I answer almost everyone tho if someone doesn;t get an answer from me they're prolly scammers or pervs |

I usually reply. Sometimes they get angry and insulting. Those kind of guys usually show what they're like pretty quickly. That's why I stopped replying, most of the time. |

To each their own... Some guys just can't take rejection... Hell, I've had enough practice, if it was a professional sport I'd be an all-star...

boys & girls can we say "control freak" some guys are such control freaks they can't even let go of in it cyberspace cntrol freakism IS THE biggest turn off ever Yep! Turn off is an understatement where guys like this are concerned. He was very sweet and charming in his initial email, and I thought it would be the polite way to do to reply and honestly tell him how it is. I was surprised he went psycho berserk on me. lol. It is a creepy thought how some can guise themselves. |

There are ways to tell them you are not interested without hurting their feelings I think.
Chances are they wrote to 30 women and don't even keep track of any of the ones that don't respond so not responding might be better. Personally I have sent messages to quite a few men on another site to see what response I got back and nobody responded. I would personally like to hear something rather than nothing. But men have a harder time saying no or rejecting a woman than women have rejecting men. The reason for that is that women just have more practice. And men just don't know how to do it very well... |

I said this to a man once and he had this huge rant on my having no business being here if I'm not going to date a guy who sends me an email. Oh I guess he thought that you are required to or should date every single man who wants to date you? What an idiot. |

in his defense, he did spent a lot of money on the gorilla suit Ah, he wasn't the one who wore the gorilla suit. The guy in the gorilla suit is already smiling on the bed now, asleep. |

Then again, those are also the kind of guys who think any response means someone's interested in them. |
