Slowly the fog is falling to the ground; it seems to be engulfing the trees as it rolls in from places unknown. The lightning bugs are flitting to and fro above the piles of hay in the field. They seem to be lighting the way for the fog as it brings the moisture to the air. The sunsets glow is dancing in the distance and the clouds are turning orange, then red, and then to that deep hue of purple at the edges. The vapor trails of the night seem to be alive as they disappear into nothingness, they become invisible as the fog billows over the fields and pastures.

In the distance the dogs are chasing each other by the stream, leaping down the banks trying to catch each other as they seem to dance across the water only their paws getting wet. I wonder where that crawdad is hiding, or has it disappeared like the vapor trails? Hearing the splashes I think of dreams past, of a knoll where I will build my home, the place of my dreams by a stream of life that long ago was forgotten.

The fog reminds me of things that tried to engulf me, that tried to change my path long ago forged in the annals of my mind. Slowly I see the pictures of my life return to me as the fog becomes a screen of what has occurred in the past. I am waiting to see if the dreams of my future will be seen in this fog or if it will be yet another chapter in time I will wait for?

The dampness is soothing after the hot days of summer, it is refreshing as it wets my face, and the lightning bugs are in a fever on the pasture, lighting the way for the fog to consume the hay cuttings laying in the fields. Soon the fog will be alone, standing the test of time until morn, it will be the backdrop for my life in these green pastures of my future, long ago seen only in a dream.

Dream with me as we see yet another fog of the night allow us to dream about the morning sun. Looking forward to the warmth of the suns caress as that of a lovers tender touch. Wondering what new wonders my Lover will show me, and guide me to my new streams only found in the rivers of paradise.
