There’s a lady I know.
Not all that long ago.
She was in the shadows.
Thinking there were no more rainbows.
The words upon the page she wrote.
Would surely make you float.
Her words hit the page.
There were times with such rage.
You could see her heart bleed.
And feel the tears she shed.
She spoke of things in the dark.
Someone had left a mark.
They had taken her heart.
Like a work of art.
They took her down.
Till she felt she was fixing to drown.
Then finally came the night.
She knew she had to fight.
This was for her son.
This had to be done.
The years went by.
Her words would fly.
Quickly she would write.
The fires within would ignite.
The words just seem to flow.
Her heart she started to show.
With her words she will take you there.
As you read you must beware.
For you will get lost.
And feel as if you were just tossed.
Right into this poem you just read.
As if she had gotten into your head.
Her words will grab you.
And take you through.
The story she does tell.
And make it seem so real.
For now everyone knows.
She has become a beautiful Rose.
No longer do her words speak of gloom.
For now she has started to bloom.
The words she sends our way.
Speak of rainbows coming her way.
She has finally found a place.
That puts a smile upon her face.

From the time I first came to this site I very seldom would every read poetry much less even try to write it. But the first time I sat and read one of your poems. Not only did they grab my heart and took me to this place you were at so deep within.
I waited each day as you posted just to get a glimse of your words that would flow across the page. As I made comments to your work you always would respond with gratitude. But I was the one that was honored to be able to read them. Your words inspired me to try to write my words upon the page. The more we talked I watched as your poems took on a differnt style for they were not all dark anymore. You were being drawn to the light and the closer you got the more vibrant they got. I have told you many times over the last year you were the Lady With The Words!! I love ya too g/f you are one very special lady indeed.
