today was my uncle funeral
which was over in central oregon
over by chiliquin and klamath falls area
and we were 2hours away from the area we needed to be at

and the pass was so bad
we decided to turn back
for it would had been worse coming back on sunday
when my sister had check odt weather report online it showed the pass beeing clear.... thats a joke that may had been last week not today

and my other sister called 511 on her cell and that weather report showed that the weather was going to be worse between california and oregon border

didnt need the stress
and im sure that my uncle would had understood

Just wondering as my youngest daughter travels for Home Depot and she had mentioned that there were still passes she couldn't make it thru.

i used to live in klamath falls when i was little and i still have family down in that area

we didnt even make it to chiliquin for we were 2hours from there when we turned back
yea it was sunny (in some areas) but the pass (santiam) was pack with ice and snow chimolt(however you spell it) part was clear but when you got farther it was to stressful

when did we try to get there.... it was today sat feb 19th
