Everyone made it clear to Russell during Heroes vs Villians that he wouldn't win because he made enemies.
He forgets that winning challenges and strategy aren't the only aspects of the game. It is also social skills. He is too arrogant and that will be his down fall. Anyone remember his first season where he tried to buy the title???? He doesn't get that it still wouldn't make him the ultimate survivor. |

He doesn't get that it still wouldn't make him the ultimate survivor. Not so sure. My theory is that he doesn't expect to win the money, He wants the celebrity. there are many other ways the people can make money just by being a celebrity. At least, that's my theory.

he can't win the money cos he makes too many enemies. I agree with that. Do you think that Russell knows that? (My guess is that he does). I think he went into his first Survivor thinking that he would get votes from people who admire him because of his skill and cunning. He should be learning that every little thing he does goes into how people are going to judge him in the end.

Wouldn't it be amazing to find that, in real life, Russell is actually a pretty good guy? That what we're seeing is just his "Survivor" personna? That wouldn't surprise me too much.

Even when his wife came to help with a challenge....he didn't seem to miss her much or care that much. He focused on the fact that Jerry (H vs V) took the other ladies with her and not him and he was going to get even |

As far as it being scripted---- NO WAY, however i have heard of stories where workers on the show have been talking to contestants to purposely put provoking thoughts into their heads to sort of instigate fights and what not. i dont see how these things can be scripted, edited to make a great show----definitely. What about that chick last season--NAONKA!! Her mom was pissed at her daughters behavior and NAONKA was darn proud of her attitude problem. I dont think it was scripted I just think she was a loud mouth idiot. |
