Hi there all I got a Valentines from my grand daughter. She is 2 1/2. Colored a butterfly and pasted a candy bar on for body. 
That sounds so cute!!!! She was so proud of it. But I think she wanted to eat the candy bar herself 
I remember animal crackers. Didn't know they still made them. Do they still make Cracker Jacks to? With the toy surprise?
