Ahh, you man Barry! I would hate it if people referred to me by my middle name. But then, I guess that's the point, isn't it? I'm sure your middle name isn't a Muslim holy name. Like it's pointed out on several occasions. A president can't act alone Congress has to approve a war or invasion. At least, that's the excuse given every time Hussein makes a plan or promise.  
thats true too, the only exclusive power our presidents have are vetos and pardons anything else is a collaboration with congress, involving constant negotiation and compromise ,,,far from a dictatorship You've neglected the Executive Order from your list of direct presidential powers. Originally it wasn't that tyrannical, but it became much more so as time went on. (also, thought it isn't likely, it is technically possible that a president could pack the supreme court again, as FDR did) |

The former Presidentdecided to cancel a planned trip to Switzerland. The article cites two reason. The fear of protest demonstrations and a move to have him arrested as a war criminal. Bush has never been squeamish about being protested, so I'm guessing that it's the threat of arrest that worries him. LOL I said this was going to happen when they started their protests of him in other countries. Maybe we should hand him over as a show of good faith and it will probably end all of our illegal wars. |
