I was just wondering why is it so hard for Christian women to find the right person to be in there lives?I'm just curious and wondering.I know there are some awesome Christian men out there but for now I will keep my focus on God and let him keep moving in my life.Have a great Monday and keep focusing on God to day.

girl, sometimes we complicate our own life more than it has to be. when we try to stay one step ahead of God things get difficult. keep your focus on Him and you will find how things fall into place. may the peace of our Lord be with you always

I think it is difficult, first of all, to find a 'good' person, because thats not a quality that is highly mentioned anymore let alone promoted or encouraged. Its a very egocentrical culture right now. That being said, christian doctrine calls for men and women to care about each other and its just difficult to find someone who can let their own guard down long enough to truly look after someone else in an honest and caring manner. There is also a high level of judgmentalism which makes finding the right person so difficult. We probably often miss out on 'good' people because we never get further than their appearance. I find that the answer is just what you said. Keep out focus and let God keep moving in our life. When and if there is someone meant to be that blessing I believe our paths will cross, but it will still be up to us to recognize it and take action. |

Thanks so much you guys it really helps in the decision I need to make later in life.God's grace has been awesome to me lately and placed me with some awesome friends. When it comes to looking for the right person yes ,God will guide him in that direction for me to see one day.I also agree sometimes we can't see past the appearance of someone because we have not looked in the heart. We miss out on so much when we have not looked in someone's heart and taken the chance to know that person.

I think it is because the golden rule of doing unto others as you have them do unto you can be the hardest test when it comes to a relationship.
Pages 111-112 of Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions (AA) goes right along with this verse for me. Now comes the biggest questions yet. What about the practice of these principles in all our affairs? Can we love the whole pattern of living as eagerly as we do the small segment of it we discover when we try to help other alcoholics achieve sobriety? Can we bring the same spirit of love and tolerance into our sometimes deranged family lives that we bring to our A.A. group? I wanted to balk because I had friends in A.A. and we could communicate. I could be myself there because my sponsor told me that we should be friendly with our friends. I guess my problem was that I had no friends at home. I think it is good for a Christian person to have friends in their family. Because it sure would make communication easier. At least for me that is, One thing I like about Jesus is that he is a friend who sticks closer than a brother. |

I wonder why I can't find a good Catholic man, but not a Catholic extremist. My city is almost all Catholic but the fundementalist Christian movement is taking over. i'm a lapsed Catholic butnif i found a good one perhaps i would go to church again.
