Hi Knox, Would the answer be BLACK? Some do like their coffee that way I guess. EWE I prefer sugar and cream myself. ttyl |
"Well, let's see, yesterday you took cream but no sugar. The day before you took two sugars but no cream."
"Heart condition, Joe. Doctor said so." "But how's a man supposed to know what your 'usual' is if you aren't a so-called 'usual' kind of person?" "Joe, we've been partners how long?" "Twenty-nine years." "Right, Joe, and have you ever known me to drink my coffee with Dr. Pepper stirred in?" "Can't say as I have." "Then, see, that's it! Just get me something other than that." |
without DR Pepper
No right answers so far. Carebear has come the closest by saying "No Dr. Pepper".
If no one gets it by this evening, I'll give the answer |
black with cream

Well Knox, looks like no one knows the answer to this one. I thought it was something like, not in a cup. Like not in a regular coffe cup. I don't know either. Just something I thought I remembered. So, PLEASE, do tell the answer this evening.

OK, IT'S EVENING!!!!!!!
Thanks to everyone who guessed. They were all good guesses, and the funny guesses made me laugh ? So, How did Bill Gannon(Dragnet) like his coffee? "Double double" as he called it, which meant: Double cream, double sugar. By mentioning this on several episodes, at least it showed the writers were consistent. But since Dragnet was a Jack Webb production, you knew everything was giong to be consistent. Thanks for playing, everyone! Next question? |
