Thanks, Mikey . You really made me do my homework.
Now I know a bit moer about Sky King than I did earlier. I know that Sky King's plane was called "Songbird". I also know that for the 1st 39 episodes of the show, they used a Cessna T-50 plane, and for the rest of the show's run, they used a Cessna 310-B. Mikey, that was a great question. I appreciate anytime someone puts me thru my paces! Give me another one. I SALUTE YOU, SIR!!!!!! |

Sky King had a Cocker Spaniel named Sugar.
There was a German Shepherd in one of the episodes but he was not the usual dog star. |

|
In the Episode: A Dog Named Barney: The town's much-loved newsboy, Johnny, is blind and is given a seeing-eye dog by the community. When Johnny and Barney stumble into a robbery, the dog takes off after the bandit, and Sky must track the heroic German shepherd, hoping it will lead him to the perpetrator!

Ok..Here is one from TOOL TIME!!
Like many men, Tim Taylor believed himself to be a master of outdoor barbecue cooking. While attempting to demonstrate his prowess on "Tool Time", he launched a barbecue into Earth orbit. Tim's barbecue eventually splashed-down into one of the Great Lakes. Which lake was it? |

K.I.T.T. stood for:
Knight Industries Two Thousand. Actually, Lakeman, the person asking the questions lets us know when a right answer is given. An example is that for all everyone except Mikey knows, my Sky King answer coud be total made up BS. Always verify. It's also bad form to ask a question that the asker doesn't know the answer to. Thankfully, no one's done that on here. Seriously, tho, everyone has asked some really good questions. |
