Hi Knoxman and all. I have a question that I am not quite sure I know the answer to. Here it is:
What ever happened to the Partridge Family's dad? |
All I can remember is that Shirley was a widow,,, Cant remember how he died,,,
They never said. Just like Andy Taylor's wife in Andy Griffith.
Shirley partridge and Andy Taylor both started off as widowers, no explanations or backstories given. Well, here's my latest trivial masterpiece(I hope). What do these 50s TV shows have in common(besides being on in the 50s): Gunsmoke Father Knows Best Dragnet No Clues This Time! Yer On Yer Own ! Good Luck To All!! |
No clues,,
Morning (((Knox))))) |

Okay thanks Shutter,, when i get back from the beach i will post my reply
What's Alan(Allen) Hale, Shutter? If you're answering my question, that's not correct. Thanks for trying .
Morning, LAMom . The question's still open.

joe friday was the producer(i dont know his real name)
cool, i didn't know that
Sorry, Cutie ,
That's not it. Jack Webb(Friday's real name)produced, directed, and starred in Dragnet, but not the other two. Okay, here's a clue(sort of): Listen, the common thread has NOTHING to do with any actor or actress on any of the shows. |

Is the answer that all 3 were radio shows before becoming TV shows.
on cbs

Sassy , CONGRATS!
I actually got the idea for this question after listening to a 1950 radio episode of Father Knows Best on an AM radio station last weekend. Anybody who's never heard a radio show episode really doesn't know what they're missing! I'll be back later(probably tomorrow with another question... As they say on TV.... TO BE CONTINUED! |
